Passage through this highly popular multiple lock (7 airlocks) is based on ascent and descent phases.
You can go through the Fonseranes Locks on request out of season.

La Maison Batelière is open all year:
15/04 - 31/10: 9am-12.30pm, 2pm-7.30pm, Monday-Sunday, including bank holidays.
01/11 - 14/04: 8am-12pm, 1.30pm-5.30pm, Monday-Friday.
La Maison Batelière is a boat stopover which opened in 2015 on the ground floor of the lock-keeper’s house.
It provides mooring for visiting boats and fluid supply. The quay has 17 mooring rings, 15 of which have a water and electricity supply.
Monitoring is provided by video surveillance cameras.
La Maison Batelière offers tourist information and provides the official brochure of the Béziers Méditerranée Tourist Office. they can help boaters to plan their stay.
Bus stop on the quay, VIP taxis available for families, disabled people, shopping delivery service, three nearby restaurants serving different cuisines, a shopping centre is 3mn away (walking), and train station 5 minutes away (walking).
